True Knowledge
When knowledge is true, all doors open
The mind melts, its rigidity forever broken
We’re welcomed in every heart
No need to ask, we’re never apart
True knowledge only trusts silence
The faintest whisper from the mind is violence
Turning pages will not get us there
Unless hidden ignorance is first laid bare
True knowledge is sharp and exacting
Our attention cannot be caught napping
Its source is everywhere
And found through a silent inner stare
We cannot forgo true knowledge
Even if it breaks the most pleasurable bondage
Only as awareness, we can hold forever
True knowledge our only treasure
