Doubt
Doubt leaves a divide
It is an uncertain guide
It opens many avenues
Choices, we like to peruse
Doubt seeks to grow
It’s rapid, not slow
In the name of trust
Into doubt, the mind is thrust
Doubt says, prove it or else
Suspicions remain as welts
In the race for clarity
Gone are innocence and purity
Doubt is not a must
Existence is fair and just
Recognize it as mind’s play
With it, the heart may decay
