Choices
When we stop choosing, the room will be empty
It’s only when the mind is full, it gets testy
Empty walls can turn into mirrors
That clearly reflect all our errors
We can run away, but not forever
From ties that we cannot easily sever
Asleep or awake, we are responsible
For the identity created, it is highly portable
Choices create a fork in the road
There is a bottleneck at that crossroad
Caused by the mind, borrowing time to calculate
Loss or gain that each choice may create
Choosing is a past time we can do without
That’s a sure way to reduce the mind’s clout
Life creates choices, they aren’t the only gears
Being neutral we empty the mind of pairs
