Nostalgia

Living in a cloud of nostalgia

We’re denied admission to the gala

Happening everywhere in the universe

To join, we needn’t be heavy in the purse

When nostalgia infects our moments

And our ornaments become endowments

Life becomes weak and anemic

Emboldening the past to become endemic

We need not cry for the present

It can never become a nostalgic event

Carefully avoiding anything labeled the past

Freshness is ours and will forever last

The sky and the moon are never nostalgic

Their calm adherence to cosmic law defies logic

We can become a part before the setting of time

For that, awareness must be pinpoint, in its prime
