Mind, Body and Spirit

Momentary

It takes just a look

The moment turns into a book

Full of the past and future

Leaving us with one moment fewer

The pages hurriedly emptied

And the cover tidied

Cannot bring a moment back

Living momentarily, it’s a knack

The breath is always on edge

Not one offers a lasting pledge

Live the joy each one brings

The rest, secondary things

When we put the book down

We cease to remain a noun

The joy of living isn’t momentary

When awareness isn’t sedentary
