Mind, Body and Spirit

Life Waits...

Life waits, for us to accept

It's total when the mind is swept

Cleansed of thought residue

One day it will claim its due

Life comes, as an offering

It does not wish upon us suffering

The mind puts up obstacles

Claiming they are from life’s Oracle

Life stays, there isn’t a curtain call

We are limited to its earthly sprawl

The mind tries to burrow deep

Hoping to outlive time’s gentle sweep

Life goes, when in ego’s throes

It’s poetry no more, but staid prose

Life cannot be kept waiting

While we burn time in hating
