Free as Air
We are as free as air
The body’s a temporary lair
Which the mind seeks to decorate
Thoughts haul the freight
Without the mind, it is all open
Everything’s noticed, nothing’s chosen
There’s no you, me, or them
All divisions are overcome
Air travels inside all
Warming the blood of the big or small
Lungs are a breezeway
Where the mind gains power to weigh
Air is a silent omnipresence
Caring for us in senescence
No matter where we go, it will follow
In each breath, its freedom we swallow
