The Sun
In the sun’s constant shower of light
The brightness is calibrated just right
The warmth penetrates each leaf
Sun’s so powerful, yet life’s brief
In time, the mind’s dark horizon
Will come alive and brighten
With wisdom, the private sun
Imagine the light, when lit in everyone
The sun has its moods
Its warmth differs with latitudes
The mind is also allowed
To occasionally shrivel under a cloud
Wisdom’s light is not affected
Its rays are protected
Like the sun which remains bright
Even when we don’t see its light
