Mind, Body and Spirit

Age

Our building blocks are ageless

Some thoughts are no less

The age we wear is skin deep

Which the passing years will sweep

The aging mind doesn’t sleep

There’s so much left to reap

From time, it borrows space

With the future, it can’t keep pace

The ageless souls, where are they?

There’s gratitude I’d like to convey

On behalf of the body and mind

To which we are all resigned

For the living to become ageless

Awareness must be choiceless

Age is a number, it’s assigned

To those who are less inclined
