Mind, Body and Spirit

Consciousness

Consciousness, the hidden hand

Harboring a neutral stand

Whether a saint or sinner

An adept or a beginner

In a whispering voice

Consciousness says rejoice

And we shall one day meet

When we’re past hidden conceit

Amidst the mind’s opulence

We forget consciousness

Thinner than air, lighter than space

Eyes can’t see it, it has no face

Hiding behind dreamer and thinker

Consciousness, an invisible splinter

Every moment, it offers a chance

To melt in its infinite expanse
