Mind, Body and Spirit

Nature's ways

Nature’s ways aren’t mysterious

Everything in it, so luxurious

Bigger than what eyes can see

She’s everywhere, where can we flee?

Nature has room for one more seed

The mind we nurse and feed

The mind and nature grow apart

But nature has a head start

There’s a silent exasperation

As the mind vacates its obligation

Living in nature’s palatial garden

The mind’s become a rogue warden

Innocence lives in the bark of every tree

We’re severing our roots in a cutting spree

Nature’s luxuries won’t last for long

If we continue to live like we don’t belong
