Mind, Body and Spirit

A Fresh Moment

Where humans have never stepped

Is cherished by every adept

It is not sheltered by a mountain

Or sprinkled by a mystical fountain

It is right here, in our hand

The moment which is pure and bland

To look for something new

We turn to the mind for its view

To the mind that works so hard

We can cajole it to rest in the backyard

While we experiment with the moment

Without bringing up the past for atonement

It is everywhere, the moment

So new, that no one can become an exponent

It’s where we reclaim the freshness of infancy

Along with its innocence and absence of bigotry
