Variety
The mind loves a daily diet of variety
Shunning awareness sans choice as monotony
While we sleep, the mind retreats to its heart
Spending time perfecting its art
It is dried and polished by daybreak
Pretending to be there for our sake
Being antagonistic gives our hand away
The mind will never go our way
If we let the mind run, free and clear
While watching it without any fear
The graveyard of thoughts becomes a playground
Giving us ample space to turn around
Desires will no more demand satiety
And awareness will witness a new inner variety
The mind is no more the essential kernel
Without it, we continue to experience the external
