Choiceless
Life doesn’t turn bland when choice disappears
For the mind, by choosing it fans the flame of our fears
The neutral arbiter is pushed aside
Whose calm silence is jealously eyed
Choice fights, as it wends its way upstream
While life effortlessly flows downstream
The two can never meet
When we choose, to be one amongst the elite
Being choiceless makes us grow
Towards the roots, the source of life’s glow
The world will magically open
When the vines of choice are broken
We become witness to our changing nature
When the mind rich in choice diminishes its stature
There’s a newfound awareness, free of choice
From where silence gets a rich new voice
