Reality
There is comfort in its presence
The mind, even if unpleasant
The familiar keeps us together
In the mind, its a shelter
A self-contained inner world
Where the future’s unfurled
It can be the greatest teacher
When we are humble in nature
The mind has sharp edges
Warning us of our pledges
Made in times of distress
Buried under our success
There’s a joy in its absence
Chaining us through every sense
Neither us nor the mind is free
When we separate, we find reality
