The shell
The mind wears a shell
It has cast such a spell
Everyone’s entrapped
Awareness is wrapped
The mind’s hide is thick
Weathering every trick
We’re forced to play along
Giving up time for a song
Unbreakable wall of brick
On which thoughts stick
Washed when senses rain
Cleaned for a new stain
The mind’s shell thins
By shedding old skins
When none are left
It ends the greatest theft
