Glaciers
Glaciers, they are a one-off gift
Their melting is creating a rift
If only our heart could melt faster
For nature, we are dependent on its pasture
Drop by drop, glacial tears thaw
Leaving behind land, rough and raw
Lucky are those who drink its waters
Before their mammoth beauty is slaughtered
There is a glacier within waiting to melt
In its waters, every emotion can be felt
When the mind is in the midst of icy indifference
There will only be a selfish preference
By letting the outer remain, the inner begins to flow
The gift we leave behind for future generations will grow
Even the fiery sun has compassion for our glaciers
If only it could melt glacial minds revealing true nature
