Compassion

It is the king of all emotions

Compassion is bravery, not a demotion

We never lose, we can freely give

It may strengthen another’s will to live

When there’s a flood, from the inner river

Compassion oozes, while we remain still as a pillar

Body and mind will no longer compete

For emotions, they will be whole and complete

The world needs compassion to rain

From the hearts of those who currently reign

How much more can the earth bleed?

It has given enough to satisfy every need

The wheels of compassion are humility

In the eyes of existence, we are all royalty

Through compassion, we can scale any height

On this journey which has no end in sight
