Dimensions
The mind has many dimensions
Storing countless impressions
It’s missing one, that of awarenes
Forgetting it’s borrowed, the mind becomes careless
Colors, shapes, forms, sounds, and scapes
We collect them all, as we traipse
Through life, can it be interesting without the mind?
Which earns its keep by becoming the glue that binds
A dimensionless space, awareness takes us there
Where the ego faces penury and begs for its welfare
Not a place where thoughts can easily enter
Their journey quickly ends and their contents splinter
A new dimension opens, when we step back and witness
Letting awareness pull us out of a happy sickness
A pendulum swinging to and fro, from pleasure and pain
Awareness stops the bobbing mind, helping us attain
