Calmness
In calmness, we can lay our trust
A shelter in the midst of a gust
From the world that makes us weary
When its goods we can no more carry
Calmness makes us simple
And the mind very nimble
It welcomes the wind of wisdom
To come and destroy its fiefdom
The calm carry nothing
Calmness becomes their clothing
Inspiring wanderers to become studious
And adept, without the mind as a nucleus
Calmness carries great depth
Its where life’s treasures are kept
We can’t bring along the world we wish to marry
In that company, calmness is temporary
