The ground of spirituality is hollow

To sink in it, ego and pride we must swallow

In it, there’s endless room to grow

Humility quietly runs the show

The spiritual ground can’t be tampered

High or low, none is pampered

It’s beneath the feet, and above all heads

Where love happily treads

There is time to make up ground

Some use an esoteric sound

All becomes spiritual, that’s eventual

Coming after dropping every intellectual ritual

Spirituality has no name or face

It is the one universal race

It’s fragrance mates with the air

We breathe it’s beauty when we’re aware
