The Journey
The journey waits, for our participation
Buried yearnings seek emancipation
Unless we take a step, there isn’t a path
Along the way, there will be a blissful bath
If we see the journey’s end, we’ve lost our way
Time teaches us about a temporary stay
Enjoyment isn’t a milestone
Joy has always been ours, never on loan
First water, then air supports our journey
Being in the moment, we’re not late or early
Keeping the hands free and open
We rebuild bridges that are broken
The journey has many more to welcome
It is for existence to reckon
Ours, keeping the feet and mind happy
Allowing the heart to do what it may fancy
