Earth, Water, Fire, Air
Earth, the envy of other planets
Custodian of life, others can’t manage
The body’s a pocket-sized reflection
There is such a diverse collection
Water, it is liquid gold
Remaining fresh, even when old
It was purified long before us humans
Which plastic threatens to ruin
Fire, it is the sun’s life breath
Darkness runs to its death
It cannot light the fire of wisdom
If the mind is detached from optimism
Air, it has no home or name
Meeting all, even those with fame
It is a witness to all our emotions
Welling up from the inner oceans
