Between opposites, the mind dances

Tempting us to take chances

This or that, they are wide apart

Lost in the middle, we lose heart

Through opposites, we learn

Life can take an unpredictable turn

The middle is a safe ground

Which the ego tries to surround

In opposites, there’s variety

Taming both ends brings anxiety

Drawing a line through the middle

The lure of opposites will whittle

Moving past opposites

Awareness gains confidence

To beat the mind at its game

Between opposites, everything’s same
