When there is fear...
Life’s trouble when there’s fear
Future’s apparitions appear
They sing and dance in the present
While we cower, tired and spent
If we allow in fear’s rant
Light of reason will turn scant
There is a high price to pay
To get back one carefree day
We aren’t that weak, to allow in fear
On our divine heritage, that’s a smear
Trees brave the dark, why can’t we?
Why be frightened when it’s too dark to see?
Life hangs by a silvery thread
When we behold its beauty, there’s no dread
Future welcomes our fears
Why give it our precious years?
