Mind & Body
The mind and body, it’s our skin
From there, the journey can begin
Comfort depends on what we pack
No one’s responsible for what’s on our back
The really light can even fly
They have left every desire to dry
Not trapped by the spotlight of passion
Their past is of the dying, pale and ashen
The senses are the pores
Through which the world pours
Flooding the delicate growth within
Without plugging them it’s hard to win
Mind and body, don’t stay young forever
Their time isn’t only for the pursuit of leisure
They launch us high and send us deep
We surface as awareness needing no upkeep
