What is Love?
Love enchants the darkest corner
Protected by the mind’s armor
Even the ego will smile
Love brings radiance to that isle
It isn’t true love when contained
The heart cannot be chained
The mind is full of ropes
They beckon us with hopes
Love waits, it is patient
Knowing there is no replacement
The ego may turn to objects
Limiting love’s prospects
Love is like life-giving air
Which we so readily share
When the mind falls in line
The body will become love’s shrine
