Meeting Room
We are in the meeting room
It’s everything, we assume
Hidden, are doors and windows
They’re light, in the shadows
Nameless emotions enter
Faceless thoughts mentor
Creating, while we wait
A burdensome weight
The meeting room’s open
Displaying what’s stolen
By the reach of the senses
The place is pretentious
We are free to leave
Thoughts, out to deceive
Those in the meeting room
Without us, they can’t resume
