Contrasts
Drawn, to contrast
With a personal past
We debate a view
Which may be untrue
Colors strike, a contrast
Their palette’s vast
The mind imitates
Colors love and hate
The sun has no contrast
Its light can’t be miscast
It comes to earth pure
Won’t change what we endure
In a place beyond contrast
We are not an outcast
To return, it’s where we belong
Is not a worldly swan song
