They have distant roots

Thoughts aren’t just for show

They’re best used, to grow  

Our taste in thoughts is known

They match flavors we own

Each adds a unique twist

Such variety in our midst

Thoughts may not appeal 

Accepting, they may reveal

A future hidden as seeds 

Portending all our deeds

All actions bear fruit

Of value, or ill repute

In thoughts, can we hide

But our actions can’t be denied
