Flexible

Living requires us to be flexible

Every moment is a festival

We bend to the slightest whim

Of the mind in which we swim

We show our inflexible nature

To life, as if its a stranger

It costs nothing to become flexible

Life will see us as dependable

Mind and life may conflict

Making for a confusing script

It is not a matter of choosing

For we are awareness unmoving

Flowing with life imparts beauty

Following the mind is a rigid duty

Through awareness, embrace both

Being choiceless, there’s inner growth
