There’s nothing we lack

Yet desires we stack

When we seek to achieve

The mind may deceive

Powered by imagination

We explore every sensation

Hoping for the new and novel

The mind will one day hobble

Eyes can see this gift

If we don’t allow them to drift

Pulling us away and apart

We get ahead of the heart

Mind’s promises don’t deliver

Blunt desires fill its quiver

When desires we unstack

We discover, nothing we lack
