Belief
A single grain of doubt
Belief suffers drought
Retreating from the heart
It can tear us apart
We create, little ponds
Choosing different bonds
We are no more universal
It’s our great betrayal
Of life, the belief it harbors
We can live without borders
There are no natural fences
Until we involve the senses
Belief in our oneness
Is reignited by kindness
When we allow it into our heart
We’ve played our little part
