Ink
Don’t let the ink go dry
Fill it daily from the inner sky
Every drop that rains
Can erase accumulated stains
Before words turn into a river
Leaving our custody forever
Color them with the special ink
So we may maintain a link
Words are the seeds we leave
They sprout and we receive
Pages filled with our own ink
That’s evidence we can’t shrink
Wielding thoughts, we write daily
What’s been written lately?
Until the ink is no more ours
We soak in the mind’s showers
