It’s easy to overlook
An innocuous nook
Where no one ventures
It’s where life enters
The mind and body
Thoughts render cloudy
It’s an effort to clear
Distractions interfere
Not shallow, not deep
But the price is steep
To reach that nook
It takes only one look
We’re hooked forever
Unafraid, quickly we sever
Ties to any falsehood
Keeping the nook obscured
