Like a strong headlight
That’s never seen darkness
It shows how to be harmless
Wisdom’s under lock and key
When we accept the guarantee
Of happiness the mind offers
Its version empties our coffers
Wisdom is earned the hard way
We’re tempted during the delay
By the mind, it manages to sway
Its variety makes it easy to betray
Debt to wisdom can’t be repaid
Its value cannot be weighed
Painlessly cuts away ignorance
Making us fit for deliverance
