Nature's language.
The language of nature
Cannot be written on paper
It is spoken by the wind
Its longevity long ago willed
Hidden behind every life form
Whether blood’s cold or warm
Sounds our ears can’t hear
It’s music, that brings cheer
Asking silence to take our fear
We enter another sphere
Where the language heard
Doesn’t have a familiar word
Communication never ceases
Even if enmity increases
There is an open channel
Where the mind can’t travel
It cannot be described
Somewhere deep inside
Where our roots may reach
There’s a joy we long to besiege
Why is it hidden from us?
For all lives, it is such a plus
Knowing the language of joy
Thoughts can no longer annoy
They speak a different tongue
Monopolizing air from every lung
Traveling afar through sound
We hear them all around
__
The language of nature
Is of a different stature
When we learn how to hear
Its message will be clear
Silence and sound are sacred
In a pure heart, they’re related
It does not matter which
Both will grow and enrich
No book can truly teach
This language, beyond all reach
The unlettered can quickly learn
They have fewer letters to burn
Traveling through sound
Or in silence, deeply drowned
It matters not, nature’s aware
Whether or not the heart’s there
Despite all that we store
And frontiers we explore
There is something missing
Deep down, we aren’t singing
By understanding nature’s song
We’re allowed to belong
No book ours can ever sing
An empty mind, we must bring
Nature’s language, the heart hears
When the mind’s fragments disappear
There remains, the one, whole
The unspoken universal soul
