Singing Thoughts
Joining the symphony of the forest
At dawn and dusk, the company is august
Their wings set off waves of harmony
On which time calmly glides, without urgency
If thoughts could learn to sing
Like birds, it will always be spring
For the lifeless pebbles in the mind
Unless they transform, they’ll be left behind
Who’ll carry that tiresome load
Back to the past, it’s an ancient abode
The music plays at the moment we call now
As long as we hear, there isn’t need to ask how
We leave the forest when we sleep
Where silence runs free and deep
When thoughts sing, we are back
Into calmness, and it’s soothing track
