The stars bring the sky alive

Before the sun’s set to arrive

The window to the universe

Humbles, when we immerse

Peppering the sky with their show

Stars are always aglow

They silently take their places

And don’t scream they are famous

Each star in the sky is a giant

Unlike thoughts, they’re reliant

They don’t leave behind stains

Thoughts do, with their chains

To watch the stars is a treat

Witnessing thoughts is a greater feat

They are a window into desires

To a watcher, they lose their powers
