Life has gifted us plenty

Born whole and healthy

Our treasure, mind and body

Used right, we become godly

Being selfish, we live in poverty

Our riches lose their novelty

No one can buy peace

It comes when senses cease

Drawn by enchanting sights

The mind promises great heights

It is a tricky companion

With it a lot can happen

The mind won’t be a source of rift

When we’re careful with that gift

It’s for us to discover we’re whole

The journey then begins to the soul
