Scattered Rays
Scattered rays, may not return
To the welcoming center, they spurn
Turning life into a journey
Leaving the destination blurry
Boredom welcomes scattered rays
Which help create a maze
Through thoughts we’re after
We’re left with endless chatter
For scattered rays to turn back in
Layers of thoughts will have to thin
They form a formidable wall
There are many that distract and enthrall
Scattered rays leak through the senses
Losing energy leaves us defenseless
When scattered rays turn inside
They emerge as one, unified
