The Sky
The sky is forgiving
It’s seen the beginning
Surviving the cosmic wrath
To foster life in the aftermath
It changes colors
After the sun’s hours
Welcoming light from everywhere
Telling us about celestial welfare
The sky’s promised not to leave
It’s our protective sleeve
There’s much we’ve invested
With no guarantee it will be vested
Billions are dependent
On the sky being pleasant
Every night it will unveil
Heavens, to which eyes set sail
