Variety
Variety, it’s nature’s paint
Some are garish, others quaint
The canvas does not change
Time does the exchange
Civilizations of all varieties
Have painted history’s diaries
Conquering sea and land
Have made them grand
Nature’s brush of variety
Paints over every dynasty
Bringing forth the new
Old can’t indefinitely accrue
Variety embraces change
It does not mean to estrange
The joy’s in being a witness
Like nature, in stillness
