To listen

To fully listen, isn’t easy

When the mind’s noisy

Thoughts clutter silence

Standing up in defiance 

The ears are polite 

Always still, quiet

If noise weren’t there 

We’d listen fully aware

The mind listens, it translates

Hearing all, to which it relates 

Echoing from its dark depth

Where all desires are kept 

Hearts speak to each other 

About being together 

Silence and love, heart’s ears 

They listen fully, without fears
