Silence & Time
Silence won’t let us forget
The years of neglect
Countless flowers wither
As we hold onto glitter
The deep inner wound
Festers with noisy sound
Silence comes to heal
It has no need to steal
So full and complete
In silence, we’re replete
We’ve come to be merry
Our time is momentary
When silence we forget
Time becomes a threat
We’re eaten its moments
Can we call it an opponent?
