Mind, Body and Spirit

Existence

Existence journals through the book of evolution

Giving us everything, no expectation of a restitution

We borrow a headgear, we call the mind

And a bodysuit, the uniform of mankind

Existence spies on us through our awareness

Valuing every moment, unlike the mind which is careless

We aren’t the only act in the universe

Arrogance creates a gap that’s difficult to traverse

Existence is the bridge to itself

It can be built, right within ourselves

Not an atom need be disturbed

But the mind’s aggression will need to be curbed

Existence has a long way ahead

Picking up our dust once we are dead

Our mistakes live on after death makes us undress

It may be left to the next generation to redress
