Mind, Body and Spirit

The Question

We’ve come to ponder one question

The mind cannot answer, just a suggestion

That question holds a buried treasure

An instrument whose value is beyond measure

Without it, we can’t jump into the beyond

We will continue to swim in a lesser pond

That question isn’t for the mind or for others

Those answers may turn us into wise beggars

Letting the question marinate in humble silence

In innocence and without any contrivance

Every day and night, if we joyfully trudge

It may make the universal heart budge

The answer is held close to the one heart

Of which we’re one impossibly small part

When we become the whole

Thank the question that played a role
