When words disappear and emotions wither

The missing links come together

Turning into an endless string of silence

Through it comes true guidance

The talkative mind makes us move

Through milestones, with something to prove

If we could travel with the silence of sleep

Into the depths, our awareness would slowly seep

Silence waits for us, it cannot be hurried

The mind will know what it is to be worried

When one foot steps off the cliff of silence

Its twin will follow, it won’t separate in defiance

The mind’s unaware, it can rest in the lap of silence

From where it can witness its own magnificence

Where its deaf to the wailing of the ego

Words are powerless when silence holds the veto
